This is a stripped down version of the Aika mug designed by Heikki Orvola in 2006 and it serves as the canvas for the Graphics series from Finland’s Iittala.

Graphics is a collection of visual expressions by four international designers, each with their own unique artistic voice. The project aims to bring the most interesting art to the most simple moments, like sipping your morning coffee or afternoon tea.

All mugs come packaged in a beautiful box for gifting, storing, or re-using.

This mug was designed by Parisian-born artist Ugo Gattoni, whose surreal portraits and landscapes earn him recognition worldwide. He was inspired by the underwater world for this project, specifically the floating composition of sea plants. The result is called “Anemone,” and like others in the collection, it has a psychedelic, funky feel to it.

Material: Ceramic

Dimensions: 11cm high x 9cm diameter at the rim

Capacity: 400ml

Microwave and dishwasher safe.

Designed in Finland and made in Thailand.
