One of the latest addition to the PAPER SERIES of tableware designed by Sydney-based ceramicist Hayden Youlley.
This is a large and shallow bowl which is ideal as a fruitbowl centrepiece or as a large salad bowl. It measures a maximum of 34.5cm in diameter and it is about 7cm deep.
The Paper Series of porcelain tableware has a subtle paper-like creased texture, which creates complex patterns, light, and shade that are inviting to study and touch.
Clear glaze is applied only to the interior of each piece leaving the exterior with a vitrified surface that will gradually become smoother with use and age. Hayden Youlley Design use porcelain that is microwave and dishwasher safe. All Hayden Youlley Design ceramics are hand made and any irregularities in shape are part of the process and should be enjoyed and embraced.
